ENSOR MEWS, SOUTH KENSINGTON, LONDON, SW7 (FREEHOLD)

PURCHASED: JANUARY 2017

SOLD: AUGUST 2019

PROJECT BRIEF OVERVIEW:

Located in a very quiet, peaceful part of Ensor Mews, this house had previously been altered (to its architectural design detriment) at some point in the past, and as such stuck out in the street scene compared to its more traditional Victorian neighbours.

Following a successful planning application, the front elevation was rebuilt to provide a more characteristic aesthetic. The internal floors and roof were removed with the ground floor being lowered to allow for an extra floor to be integrated in to the property.

The final layout of the completely redesigned house included a kitchen, dining room and WC on the ground floor, a first floor reception room along with a bedroom and ensuite shower room. The impressive, vaulted top floor allowing for a boutique hotel style master suite.

The design specification included Rako lighting and underfloor heating throughout. A fully integrated Sonos system and fire suppressant system, a hand built kitchen and bespoke joinery throughout.
